As I traveled beneath the street of Paris, the walls of Metro 9 spoke in layers – advertisements, announcements, and ideologies were peeled away to reveal accidental compositions. These deconstructed posters spoke to me, and though weathered by time and indifference, they broadcast a living echo of the city’s shifting voice.
What was once designed to persuade has been reconfigured as poetry – the rips, overlaps, and fragments revealed hidden textures and unheard histories. In their decay, I saw resistance, memory, and transformation.
My current work translates the raw, residual visual language and given new voice and meaning.
